These terms govern your purchase and use of components, templates, and other digital goods sold under the Caustics brand. By completing a purchase you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the products.
The vendor is Jovian Creative AS, a company registered in Norway ("Caustics", "we", "us"). Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, issues your invoice, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax or EU VAT on our behalf. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's own terms at checkout.
You are buying a license to use the software, not the software itself. Ownership and copyright of the components remain with Jovian Creative AS at all times. Each product is delivered with its source code under the Caustics Commercial License, which grants you the rights set out for the tier you purchase. A summary of the tiers appears in section 5; the full license text is the binding version.
All products are digital. After a successful purchase you receive an immediate download link and a license key by email from Lemon Squeezy. There is no physical shipment. If your download link does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then contact us at hello@caustics.dev — we will resend it.
Your license includes lifetime updates within the major version you purchased. Future major versions may require a discounted upgrade for existing license holders.

Every product is sold under one of three tiers:
In all tiers, source code may not be redistributed outside your licensed organisation. See the full license for the precise grant.
Because these are digital goods delivered with source code, our refund policy is specific. Please read the Refund Policy before purchasing. In short: we offer a refund within 14 days if a component does not work as documented and we cannot fix it, but we cannot refund a change of mind once the source has been downloaded.
The products are provided "as is". We work hard to ensure every advertised feature is real and documented, and we stand behind that with the refund policy above. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jovian Creative AS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
We may update these terms as the products and the business evolve. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
